Bristol Artist Book Event 2019

Considering the nature of my current project (zine making) Kellie informed me about a small publishing artist book fair happening at the Arnolfini in Bristol.

Over the past few weeks myself and Yee-bai have been preparing for the Bristol Artist Book Event 2019. Bath School of Art secured a table at the event and invited submissions from students across Graphics, CAP, Fine Art and Photography.

We were responsible for sourcing and organizing the photography submissions as well as preparing our own work.

We spent the whole weekend at the event which included everything from setting up, selling and speaking about other students work and documenting card and cash sales.

there were a range of creatives selling at the event Cafe royal books was an interesting one for me in terms of photography.

Martin Parr even showed up to the event!

I submitted my creatives in colour project from 2nd year as well as a load of copies of a zine from this Icelandic diaries project.
I sold around 5 copies of them both which was okay I guess!

Bath Spa Library purchased a copy of my Creatives In Colour book so I'm proud to have my work stored in their archives!
